Frelinghuysen challenger Martin Hewitt to announce change of party: to run as a registered Republican

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Congressional hopeful Martin Hewitt will announce his change of party affiliation from unaffiliated to Republican this Friday, July 7, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm. Hewitt, a private practice securities lawyer and Chairman of the ABA Committee on the State Regulation of Securities, is the first declared Republican candidate for Congress in the district. Hewitt’s announcement will take place outside of Congressman Frelinghuysen’s Morristown office and will be followed by a short press ceremony where he will field questions.
